What we do with your information

Last updated 31 August 2026

Who we are

Upgrade Maths provides online GCSE and A-Level maths tuition. For any question about this notice or about your information, contact us at info@upgrademaths.com.

What we collect

When you complete the enquiry form we collect the parent or carer’s name, email address and phone number, and information about the student: their name, school, year group, current grade, target grade, the level and type of tuition you are interested in, and any preferred days and times you tell us.

Some of this is information about a child. We ask that the form is completed by a parent or carer, and we collect only what we need in order to answer the enquiry sensibly.

Lesson recordings

Lessons are recorded and posted to Google Classroom so that students can watch them again. A recording of a group lesson may include other students who were present, along with anything said or shown during the hour.

Recordings are held in the Google Workspace account used to teach the lesson. If you would prefer your child not to appear in a recording, or you want a particular recording removed, email info@upgrademaths.com and we will discuss what we can do.

Why we collect it

To respond to your enquiry, to arrange a consultation, and to recommend the tuition that fits. We rely on your consent, which you give by ticking the box on the form. You can withdraw it at any time by emailing us.

Where it goes

Enquiry form submissions are processed and stored by Netlify, which hosts this website, and are forwarded to our business email. Tuition itself is delivered using Google Workspace: Google Classroom and Google Meet. We do not sell your information, and we do not share it with anyone else except where the law requires it.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that do not become tuition are deleted once we no longer need them to respond. Where tuition goes ahead, we keep records for as long as we are teaching the student and for a reasonable period afterwards.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you can ask us for a copy of the information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email info@upgrademaths.com and we will respond. If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
